Spiti Valley is a cold desert mountain valley located high in the Himalayas in the north-eastern part of northern Indian state of Himachal Place. The name “Spiti” refers to “the middle land”, the valley lies in north eastern section of the Indian State and forms part of the Lahaul and Spiti District. The sub-divisional headquarters in Kaza, Himachal which is situated along the spiti river At an elevation of about 12,500 ft above sea level.
Day 0. Delhi – Shimla
Board on volvo from Kashmiri Gate ISBT / Majnu ka Tilla by evening. Overnight
journey to shimla.
Day 1. Shimla to Kalpa
Reach shimla by morning. we start our winter spiti expedition by hitting the road from
shimla. Board on traveller at morning and start your journey towards Kalpa. Reach Kalpa
by evening. Check-in at hotel . Overnight stay at hotel followed by dinner
Day 2. Kalpa – Tabo
After Breakfast, visit the famous Roghi suicide point and start your journey towards Tabo.
Witnessing the typical winter spiti scenes we will reach tabo at evening. Visit Tabo monastery its one of the forgetten monastery of spiti region.
Overnight stay at homestay followed by dinner.
Day 3. Tabo – Kaza
Wake up early morning, have breakfast. Further journey will place your hearts in kaza, a capital of spiti a completely frozen world .
During this Journey you will be confronted to pin valley national park ,an abode to magnificiant flora and fauna of high himalayas .
Just after this, Kaza will welcome you with a wonder sprinkling on your face directly.
You will be staying at homestay in Kaza for that night.
Day 4. Kaza -Langza -Komik -hikkim
We will be spending a light day next ,just travelling to some of the famous sleepy villages nearby.
Kaza ,completely blanketed by fresh snow will create a mesmerizing view of a typical snow desert around .
Wake up and enjoy those unusual moments of life .
Once you get out of Kaza you will be on Zig zag uphill drive to countryside of spiti.
We will visit Langza, komic and hikkim.
Langza is famous for Buddha statue and fossils.
Komic is the world’s highest motorable village.
Hikkim is famous for world’s Highest post office.
After this return back to your stay .
Overnight stay with dinner.
Day 5. Kaza-key-kibber-Chicham
Waking up leisurely ,get ready for next adventure after having breakfast in the next morning .from Kaza ,we will head towards most iconic building of spiti region.
Key monastery is perfect treat to ice the way its located in Cascade manner over the hills that can be seen beautifully with bird eye view.
Don’t forget to be among those peacefully living monks as there live is nothing less than two words of wisdom.
After Key monestery we will going to visit kibber. which is famous for snow leopards to pay a visit.
After that we will gonna visit Chicham bridge, which is ASIA’S HIGHEST SUSPENSION BRIDGE.
After beautiful sightseeing Reach back to kaza for another memerizing night.
Overnight stay with delicious dinner.
Day 6. Kaza – Chitkul
Wake up Early morning and Have breakfast.
Today we will start our return journey passing through all the amazing places we visited ,we will be heading towards chitkul.
Enjoy the scenary and feel the potency of fresh air blowing out of snow covered mountains.Reach
Chitkul by evening.
Check-in into your hotel/homestay/camps.
Overnight stay at hotel/homestay/camps followed by delicious dinner.
Day 7. Chitkul -Shimla -Delhi
After post breakfast, visit the the last indian Dhaba and start the journey back to Shimla.
Reach Shimla by evening and board the volvo bus.
Reach Delhi next morning with a promise to come back.
