Spiti Valley is a cold desert mountain valley located high in the Himalayas in the north-eastern part of northern Indian state of Himachal Place. The name “Spiti” refers to “the middle land”, the valley lies in north eastern section of the Indian State and forms part of the Lahaul and Spiti District. The sub-divisional headquarters in Kaza, Himachal which is situated along the spiti river At an elevation of about 12,500 ft above sea level.
Day 1. (Delhi to Rampur)
Meet at akshardham to board on bus. Overnight Journey from Delhi to Rampur.
Reach Shimla by morning & freshen up at Dhaba/Restaurant, enroute visit kurfi, Hatu peak(narkanda).
Reach Rampur by evening, check-in at the hotel.
Have a delicious dinner and overnight stay at hotel
Day 2. (Rampur to Nako)
Wake up early morning and start your journey towards Nako Lake is a high altitude lake in the Pooh Sub- division of the kinnaur district.
It forms part of the boundary of Nako village and seems that the village is half burried in the lake’s border.
It is about 3,662 meters(12,014 ft) above the sea level.
The lake is surrounded by willow and poplar trees.
Check in at Homestay and have dinner.
Day 3. (Nako to Kaza)
After breakfast depart to enter the Spiti Region enroute visit Gue Monastery, Dhankar Monastery.
After visiting Dhankar monastery board back on bus to kaza.
It will be a journey of approx 2 hrs. Check in hotel/homestay at Kaza and then enjoy the delicious local food.
Day 4. ( Kaza Local)
After breakfast, leave for kaza local exploration.
Visit the local monasteries Kibber and Key, Langza and witness the highest post office in the world in Hikkim, visit hotel/homestay and have the delicious dinner.
Day 5. (Kaza to Chitkul)
Wake up early morning have breakfast and check out from the hotel.
After Check-out from the Hotel/Homestay, we will head towards Chitkul.
Enjoy the view enroute.
Sangla is a town in the Baspa river valley, also reffered to as the Sangla valley, in the kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh, close to Tibetian border, Reach Chitkul by evening check-in at the camps & visit “the last Indian village”.
Have delicious dinner and overnight stay at camp.
Day 6. (Chitkul – Shoghi/Shimla)
Have breakfast, head towards Shimla reach shimla by evening.
Spend some time in one of the most famous Hill Station of India.
Check in at hotel and overnight stay at the hotel and enjoy your evening in shimla and explore the local Shimla
Day 7. (Shoghi/Shimla- Delhi)
Wake up early morning, have breakfast.
Check out from hotel, board bus and depart to Delhi.
Reach Dekhi by night with happiest memories.
