Spiti Valley is a cold desert mountain valley located high in the Himalayas in the north-eastern part of northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. The name “Spiti” refers to “the middle land”, the valley lies in north eastern section of the Indian State and forms part of the Lahaul and Spiti District. The sub-divisional headquarters in Kaza, Himachal which is situated along the Spiti river At an elevation of about 12,500 ft above sea level.
Day 1. (Simla to Rampur) via Narkanda
Reach Shimla by morning & freshen up at Dhaba / Restaurant, get ready to start your biking journey, collect the bikes and get ready to depart from Shimla to Rampur, it will be a journey of approx 2hrs Enroute visit Kurfi, Hatu peak (Narkanda).
Reach Rampur by evening, Check-in at the hotel.
Have a delicious dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2. (Rampur to Chitkul)
Wake up early morning have breakfast and check out from the hotel, we will head towards Chitkul.
It will be a ride of approx 5-6 hrs.
Enjoy the view en route.
Sangla is a town in the Baspa Valley, also referred to as the Sangla valley, in the Kinnaur District of Himachal Pradesh.
India, close to the Tibetan border, Reach Chitkul by evening Check-in at the camps & visit “THE LAST INDIAN VILLAGE”.
Have delicious dinner and overnight stay at Camps/Hotels.
Day 3. (Chitkul to Nako)
Early morning wake up and start your journey towards Nako Lake is a high altitude lake in the Pooh sub-division of the Kinnaur District.
It forms part of the boundary of Nako village and it seems that the village is half-buried in the lake’s border.
It is about 3,662 meters (12,014ft) above sea level.
The lake is surrounded by Willow and poplar trees.
Check-in at Homestay and have dinner.
Day 4. (Nako to Kaza) via Gue, Tabo
After breakfast, check out from homestay and start your journey towards Kaza.
En-route visit Gue Monastery, Dhankar Monastery, Dhankar Helipad. After visiting Dhankar Monestry start ride to Kaza, It will be a journey of approx 2hrs.
Check-in at Homestay at Kaza.
Enjoy the delicious local food.
Day 5. (Kaza Local)
After Breakfast, leave for Kaza local exploration.
Visit the local Monasteries Kibber and Key, Chicham, Langza and witness the highest post office of the world of Hikkim, visit the Highest village Komik.
Visit the local Kaza market in the evening.
Get back to Hotel/homestay and have a delicious dinner.
Day 6. (Kaza to Kalpa)
After breakfast, get your bikes ready for your return journey to Kalpa.
It will be a ride approx 6-7 hrs.
Kalpa is situated in Kangra district and the major attraction of Kalpa is Roghi Village Suicide point.
Reach Kalpa by evening and check-in at the hotel with Dinner.
Day 7. (Kalpa to Shimla)
Wake up early morning, have breakfast and check out from Hotel and leave for Shimla by evening and return your bikes to the point and Board the bus and depart for Delhi.
