Bir is a rural village located in the west of Joginder Nagar Valley in the state of Himachal Pradesh in northern India. It is also the location of the Bir Tibetan Colony,founded in the early 1960’s as a settlement for Tibetan refugees after the 1959 Tibetan uprising.Bir is noted for several Tibetan Buddhist monasteries and supportive centers of the Nyingma school,the Karma Kagyu school, and the Sakya school, located either in the town of Bir or nearby. A large stupa is also located in Bir. Ecotourism, spiritual studies, and meditation draws visitors.
Day 0. (DELHI – BIR BILLING)
At the evening get ready to board the bus at Mayur Vihar extension metro station gate no. 2 at 6:00 pm and depart for Bir Billing. It will be an overnight journey of 10-12hrs approx covering distance of approx 513 kms
Day 1. (BIR BILLING)
Reach Bir by morning, check in to the Camps.
Get freshen up and have breakfast.
Later go for Local Bir sightseeing (Chokling monasery, waterfall trek & local market exploration.
After that return back to campsite and refresh yourself with snacks and tea.
Enjoy Dinner with Lite Music and bonfire.
Have a Pleasant overnight stay at camp.
Day 2. (BIR BILLING – DELHI )
Wake up in the morning have breakfast, Check out from the camps and start your trek to billing.
Trek will take approx to 3-4 hrs to reach billing take-off point.
Relax for sometime and enjoy the famous paragliding activity.
You may enjoy cycling if time permits.
After that board the vehicle in evening and start your return journey towards delhi
